Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment in warehouse/dock settings
- Load/unload trucks with attention to weight distribution and product integrity
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Train junior operators on equipment usage and safety procedures
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA-approved)
- 3+ years of experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts
- Familiarity with warehouse management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and work in varied temperatures
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Clean driving record and pre-employment drug screening required
