Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, load, and unload materials safely and efficiently
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Manage inventory accuracy through systematic stock rotation and cycle counting
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company operational procedures
- Collaborate with warehouse team to optimize loading dock operations
- Maintain clean and organized work areas to prevent safety hazards
- Utilize warehouse management systems for inventory tracking and documentation
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA-approved) with 2+ years of recent experience
- Proven ability to operate multiple forklift types (sit-down, reach, pallet jack)
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and work in varied temperatures
- Basic math skills for inventory reconciliation and documentation
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability for shift work
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
