Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts with precision to move palletized goods in warehouse and dock settings
- Perform daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks to ensure OSHA compliance
- Coordinate inventory movements using warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Implement FIFO/FIFO inventory rotation protocols for perishable goods
- Maintain accurate digital and physical inventory records
- Train junior operators on safety protocols and equipment operation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize logistics workflows
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of certified forklift operation experience (OSHA certification required)
- Valid Oregon driver's license and clean driving record
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Experience operating in temperature-controlled environments
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance mindset
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends when needed
