Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and automated systems to move materials efficiently
- Implement FIFO inventory management protocols while maintaining 99.8% accuracy
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and safety compliance checks
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to optimize warehouse workflows
- Process inbound/outbound shipments using WMS software and barcode systems
- Maintain OSHA compliance standards in all material handling activities
- Train junior staff on advanced material handling techniques
Qualifications
- 3+ years of high-volume warehouse/material handling experience
- Valid forklift certification (Osha-approved)
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly and stand/walk 8+ hours daily
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Basic math and inventory reconciliation skills
- Experience with automated conveyor systems preferred
- Strong problem-solving abilities in fast-paced environments
