Responsibilities
- Supervise 10-15 warehouse staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management
- Optimize inventory control procedures and implement lean warehouse practices
- Ensure OSHA compliance and maintain a safe, organized work environment
- Coordinate with shipping/receiving teams to meet daily operational targets
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and coordinate maintenance needs
- Generate daily/weekly performance reports and recommend process improvements
- Manage cross-functional communication with sales, procurement, and transport departments
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience with proven team leadership
- Familiarity with WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and inventory software
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to resolve operational bottlenecks
- Excellent communication skills for staff coaching and stakeholder updates
- Valid California driver's license and forklift certification
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends during peak seasons
