Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment
- Manage inventory accuracy through systematic stock checks and documentation
- Coordinate efficient loading/unloading of trucks and shipping containers
- Maintain organized warehouse layout following 5S principles
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily production targets
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and OSHA compliance standards
- Train junior staff on equipment operation and warehouse procedures
Qualifications
- 2+ years of material handling experience in fast-paced environments
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
