Responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently to move materials within the warehouse.
- Perform accurate inventory counts and cycle counts using handheld scanners and WMS (Warehouse Management Systems).
- Receive, inspect, and stock incoming shipments to ensure accuracy and quality control.
- Pack, label, and prepare items for outbound shipping according to strict delivery schedules.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in compliance with OSHA and company safety protocols.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to resolve inventory discrepancies and optimize storage layouts.
- Assist in training junior staff on proper handling procedures and equipment safety.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required; Associates degree in Logistics or related field is a plus.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler, Warehouse Associate, or Forklift Operator (1-3 years preferred).
- Valid forklift certification (CDL Class A or B is a plus but not required).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform accurate data entry.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy and experience with RF scanners or inventory software.
- Proven track record of safety-conscious work habits.
