Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform regular cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Ensure all warehouse operations comply with strict safety regulations and OSHA standards.
- Package and prepare shipments for distribution with precision and care.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Assist in training junior warehouse staff on proper equipment handling and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (Class A or B) is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer literacy and experience with inventory management software.
