Responsibilities
- Coordinate international and domestic shipments across multiple carriers and transportation modes
- Manage documentation compliance including customs forms, bills of lading, and commercial invoices
- Optimize routing and scheduling to minimize transit times and transportation costs
- Monitor shipment status proactively and resolve delays with stakeholders
- Collaborate with warehouse teams for efficient loading/unloading procedures
- Implement and maintain shipping SOPs using WMS/TMS platforms
- Analyze shipping metrics to identify cost-saving opportunities
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in shipping/logistics coordination
- Proficiency with TMS/WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Certified Customs Broker (ACE) or equivalent certification preferred
- Expert knowledge of INCOTERMS and international shipping regulations
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making ability
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
- BS in Supply Chain Management or related field
- Experience with hazardous materials shipping protocols
