Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily shipping schedules for 50+ daily orders using TMS and WMS systems
- Manage inventory levels and reconcile discrepancies with ERP software
- Liaise with carriers to negotiate rates and resolve transit delays
- Train new staff on shipping protocols and safety compliance
- Generate monthly performance reports for logistics leadership
- Oversee customs documentation for international shipments
- Implement cost-saving measures in shipping processes
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in shipping or warehouse coordination
- Proficiency in logistics software (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Forklift certification and OSHA 10-hour training
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing priorities in fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
- Experience with hazardous materials shipping protocols
