Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping operations across air, ocean, and ground freight
- Manage customs documentation and compliance for international shipments
- Optimize carrier relationships and negotiate competitive rates
- Track shipments proactively and resolve delivery exceptions
- Collaborate with warehouse teams for inventory synchronization
- Generate performance reports and logistics analytics
- Maintain compliance with DOT, IATA, and FMC regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of freight forwarding or logistics coordination experience
- Proficiency in TMS platforms (SAP, Oracle, or Descartes)
- Certified Customs Broker or CSCP designation preferred
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Expert knowledge of Incoterms 2020 and import/export regulations
- Advanced Excel skills with data visualization capabilities
- Ability to manage high-volume shipments under tight deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field
