Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments across multiple carriers and freight modes
- Maintain real-time tracking of all shipments and provide proactive updates to stakeholders
- Prepare and process customs documentation, commercial invoices, and bills of lading
- Optimize routing to minimize costs while meeting delivery SLAs
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure accurate inventory allocation
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and investigate transit delays
- Generate shipping reports and performance analytics for continuous improvement
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in freight forwarding or shipping coordination
- Proficiency with WMS/TMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Certified Customs Broker or equivalent compliance training preferred
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, customs regulations, and hazmat protocols
- Exceptional problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities in fast-paced environments
- Associate's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field
