Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international shipments via air, ocean, and ground carriers
- Manage documentation (BOLs, customs forms, commercial invoices)
- Track shipments in real-time using TMS software (SAP/JDA preferred)
- Resolve transit delays and exceptions proactively
- Collaborate with warehouse teams on dock scheduling
- Analyze freight costs and negotiate carrier rates
- Maintain compliance with DOT/IMDG/IATA regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years in logistics/shipping coordination role
- Proficiency in TMS/WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan)
- Certification in logistics (CSCP, CLTD) or supply chain management preferred
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
- Knowledge of Incoterms 2020 and customs clearance processes
