Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international shipments across multiple carriers and modes (air, rail, truck)
- Manage inventory control systems and optimize warehouse space utilization
- Resolve customs documentation and compliance issues for cross-border shipments
- Track shipments in real-time using WMS/TMS platforms and provide proactive client updates
- Negotiate freight rates and contracts with third-party logistics providers
- Analyze shipping data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
- Train junior staff on shipping protocols and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- 3+ years of shipping/logistics coordination experience with LTL/FTL operations
- Proficiency in TMS/WMS software (SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan Active preferred)
- HTS classification and customs brokerage knowledge
- OSHA and DOT compliance certification
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making ability
- Excellent communication skills and bilingual (Spanish) preferred
