Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes for high-volume B2B clients
- Manage carrier relationships and negotiate freight rates
- Oversee customs documentation for international shipments
- Analyze logistics data to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Implement inventory tracking systems for warehouse integration
- Train junior coordinators on SOPs and compliance standards
- Resolve transportation disputes with vendors and clients
Qualifications
- 3+ years of shipping coordination experience in logistics
- Proficiency with TMS/WMS software (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- DOT/FMC compliance knowledge
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
- OSHA Hazmat certification preferred
- Advanced Excel and data visualization skills
- Forklift certification a plus
