Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping
- Manage and mentor a team of 15-20 warehouse associates, ensuring productivity and safety standards
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs
- Conduct regular safety audits and enforce OSHA compliance protocols
- Optimize inventory control systems to maintain accuracy and minimize discrepancies
- Collaborate with transportation and purchasing departments to ensure seamless operations
- Generate performance reports and KPI tracking for continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 5 years warehouse management experience with team leadership
- OSHA 30-hour certification and forklift operation expertise
- Proficiency in WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong analytical skills with experience in process optimization
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Experience with automated warehouse systems preferred
