Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping activities
- Manage and mentor team of 15+ warehouse associates, ensuring productivity and safety standards
- Implement lean inventory management practices to optimize space utilization
- Conduct regular safety audits and enforce OSHA compliance protocols
- Coordinate cross-functional logistics with transportation and procurement teams
- Analyze KPIs to identify process improvements and cost-saving opportunities
- Maintain accurate inventory records through WMS systems
Qualifications
- 5+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in logistics or manufacturing
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP)
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Forklift certification and equipment operation expertise
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying temperature conditions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
