Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and distribution of goods
- Manage and mentor a team of 15-20 warehouse associates, ensuring performance standards are met
- Implement and maintain OSHA compliance protocols and safety procedures
- Optimize inventory management systems to reduce costs and improve efficiency
- Coordinate with transportation and logistics teams for seamless supply chain integration
- Generate performance reports and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Conduct regular audits and ensure accurate record-keeping
Qualifications
- 5+ years of warehouse management experience with team leadership responsibilities
- OSHA 30-hour certification and strong knowledge of safety regulations
- Proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and inventory management software
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred
- Proven track record of reducing operational costs by 15% or more
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision making
- Forklift certification and experience with automated warehouse systems
