Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments, including documentation, customs clearance, and carrier selection
- Track and monitor freight movements using TMS platforms like Oracle or SAP
- Liaise with carriers, warehouses, and clients to resolve shipping delays and exceptions
- Prepare bills of lading, commercial invoices, and customs compliance paperwork
- Optimize load planning to minimize costs and maximize container utilization
- Collaborate with procurement and sales teams on delivery timelines and customer requirements
- Generate shipping reports and KPIs for continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in logistics/shipping coordination within a 3PL or manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in TMS software (Oracle, SAP, or similar) and MS Office Suite
- Certification in logistics (CSCP, CLTD, or CPIM) preferred
- Strong understanding of Incoterms, customs regulations, and hazardous materials handling
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot complex shipping scenarios
- Detail-oriented mindset with proven accuracy in documentation and data entry
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment
