Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipping processes, ensuring timely and cost-effective freight movement
- Manage documentation compliance for customs clearance, including bills of lading and commercial invoices
- Oversee warehouse inventory tracking and reconcile shipping discrepancies
- Liaise with carriers, customs brokers, and clients to resolve shipping issues proactively
- Optimize transportation routes and negotiate freight rates with vendors
- Maintain accurate shipment databases and generate performance reports
- Collaborate with sales and procurement teams to align shipping schedules with client needs
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in logistics, shipping coordination, or supply chain management
- Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle Transportation Management)
- Strong knowledge of international shipping regulations and INCOTERMS
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
- Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Forklift certification and OSHA 10-hour training preferred
- Associate degree in Supply Chain or related field required
