Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments across multiple carriers and modes (air, ground, rail)
- Manage documentation compliance (customs forms, bills of lading, commercial invoices)
- Monitor shipment tracking and proactively resolve transit delays
- Optimize freight routes to balance cost-efficiency and delivery timelines
- Liaise with warehouse teams, vendors, and clients regarding shipment status
- Maintain accurate inventory records and logistics databases
- Prepare monthly freight cost analysis reports for leadership review
Qualifications
- 3+ years of shipping/logistics coordination experience
- Proficiency in TMS (Transportation Management Systems) and MS Office Suite
- Familiarity with Incoterms 2020 and customs regulations
- Strong analytical skills for route optimization and cost management
- Excellent communication abilities for cross-functional collaboration
- High school diploma required; Supply Chain certification preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours during peak shipping seasons
