Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate all domestic and international shipping activities, ensuring timely delivery.
- Select appropriate carriers based on cost, speed, and reliability.
- Prepare and verify shipping documents, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and packing lists.
- Monitor shipment status and resolve any logistical issues or delays immediately.
- Maintain accurate records of shipping data, inventory movements, and delivery logs.
- Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and internal teams regarding shipment status.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Supply Chain or Logistics is a plus.
- 1-3 years of professional experience in shipping, logistics, or freight forwarding.
- Proficiency with logistics software (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Manhattan) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations and international shipping compliance.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic setting.
