Responsibilities
- Process and prepare accurate shipping documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and packing lists.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound freight schedules with carriers and logistics partners.
- Track shipments in real-time to identify potential delays and implement contingency plans.
- Maintain detailed records of all shipping activities and inventory movements.
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and communicate updates effectively with internal teams and external clients.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies during loading and unloading.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in shipping, receiving, or logistics coordination.
- Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems).
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a high-volume environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
