Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes across air, ocean, and ground freight channels
- Maintain real-time visibility of shipments using TMS platforms and provide proactive client updates
- Optimize routing and carrier selection to minimize costs while meeting SLAs
- Resolve customs clearance issues and ensure compliance with international trade regulations
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure accurate inventory management and timely loading
- Generate and analyze shipping reports for continuous process improvement
- Act as primary liaison between clients, carriers, and internal stakeholders
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics coordination
- Proficiency in TMS systems (e.g., Descartes, MercuryGate) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Certified Customs Broker (CBP) or ISTA logistics certification preferred
- Strong analytical skills with ability to troubleshoot complex shipment delays
- Exceptional communication abilities with demonstrated client management experience
- Detail-oriented mindset with zero tolerance for documentation errors
- Ability to manage competing priorities in fast-paced environments
