Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule domestic/international shipments via air, rail, and freight carriers
- Manage documentation including bills of lading, customs forms, and compliance paperwork
- Track shipments in real-time and provide proactive updates to stakeholders
- Resolve transportation delays and implement contingency solutions
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure timely loading/unloading
- Analyze shipping data to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Maintain compliance with DOT and international shipping regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years in logistics/shipping coordination or related field
- Proficiency in TMS/WMS software (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms and customs procedures
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Valid Ohio driver's license (preferred)
- Associate's degree in Supply Chain or related field (required)
- Forklift certification (a plus)
