Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes including documentation, customs clearance, and carrier selection
- Track shipments in real-time using TMS software and proactively resolve transit delays
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to optimize loading schedules and container utilization
- Maintain accurate inventory records and reconcile shipping discrepancies
- Build strong relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers
- Ensure compliance with DOT, IATA, and international shipping regulations
- Generate monthly shipping reports and KPI dashboards for leadership review
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain coordination
- Proficiency in TMS/WMS platforms (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of INCOTERMS and customs documentation procedures
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
- Attention to detail with proven accuracy in documentation and data entry
- Valid California driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible hours during peak shipping seasons
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field preferred
