Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international shipments across air, sea, and ground freight channels
- Manage documentation compliance (customs forms, bills of lading, certificates)
- Track shipments in real-time and resolve transit disruptions proactively
- Collaborate with carriers, warehouses, and customs brokers for efficient clearance
- Analyze shipping data to optimize routes and reduce transportation costs
- Maintain inventory accuracy and coordinate warehouse receiving/distribution
- Prepare shipment reports for management and client communications
Qualifications
- 3+ years in logistics/shipping coordination with LTL/FCL experience
- Proficiency in WMS/TMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or Blue Yonder preferred)
- Expert knowledge of INCOTERMS, customs regulations, and hazmat protocols
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making ability
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
- APICS or CSCP certification highly desirable
- Ability to work flexible hours during peak shipping seasons
