Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes for domestic and international shipments
- Manage carrier relationships and negotiate freight rates
- Prepare and maintain shipping documentation (BOLs, customs forms, invoices)
- Track shipments in real-time and proactively resolve delivery delays
- Collaborate with warehouse teams for efficient loading/unloading schedules
- Analyze shipping metrics to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Ensure compliance with DOT and international shipping regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of shipping/logistics coordination experience
- Proficiency in TMS (Transportation Management Systems) and WMS
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms and customs clearance procedures
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in high-pressure situations
- Valid California driver's license
- Forklift certification preferred
