Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes for high-volume clients
- Manage documentation (BOLs, customs forms, invoices) with 99% accuracy
- Optimize freight routes using TMS software to reduce costs by 15%
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and exceptions proactively
- Build/maintain relationships with carriers and warehouse teams
- Analyze shipping data to identify improvement opportunities
- Ensure compliance with DOT and international shipping regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in shipping/logistics coordination
- Proficiency in TMS platforms (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan Active)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms and customs procedures
- Ability to manage competing priorities in fast-paced environments
- Associate degree in Supply Chain or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- OSHA/Forklift certification preferred
- Advanced Excel skills for data analysis
