Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments, including documentation preparation and customs clearance
- Optimize shipping routes and negotiate rates with carriers to minimize costs
- Track shipments in real-time using our TMS platform and provide proactive status updates
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Maintain accurate inventory records and shipping databases
- Comply with all DOT, IATA, and hazardous material regulations
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of shipping coordination experience in a logistics environment
- Proficiency with TMS/WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms and international shipping regulations
- Exceptional problem-solving and multitasking abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Relevant logistics certification preferred (CSCP, CLTD)
