Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily shipping activities across multiple carriers and freight modes
- Manage inventory control and warehouse documentation systems
- Resolve customs clearance issues for international shipments
- Collaborate with sales and production teams to meet delivery deadlines
- Track shipments and provide real-time status updates to stakeholders
- Optimize routing and carrier selection to reduce transportation costs
- Maintain compliance with DOT, IATA, and customs regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in shipping coordination or logistics
- Proficiency in WMS/TMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms and international shipping documentation
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Forklift certification preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours during peak shipping seasons
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field preferred
- Experience with LTL, FTL, and air freight operations
