Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping operations including documentation, customs clearance, and carrier scheduling
- Manage inventory tracking and warehouse logistics for international freight shipments
- Optimize routing and negotiate freight rates to minimize costs and transit times
- Liaise with customs brokers, carriers, and clients to resolve shipment discrepancies
- Generate and analyze shipping reports for operational efficiency improvements
- Ensure strict adherence to DOT, OSHA, and international shipping regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics coordination
- Proficiency in WMS/TMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
- Expert knowledge of INCOTERMS, customs procedures, and import/export regulations
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex shipping data
- Exceptional communication skills for cross-functional stakeholder management
- Certified Transportation Professional (CTP) or equivalent preferred
