Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments, including documentation, customs clearance, and carrier selection
- Monitor inventory levels and optimize warehouse operations to prevent stockouts
- Collaborate with sales, production, and transportation teams to resolve shipping delays
- Track shipments using logistics software and provide real-time status updates to stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with DOT, IATA, and international shipping regulations
- Analyze shipping data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
- Build and maintain relationships with freight carriers and third-party logistics providers
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain coordination
- Proficiency with logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle TMS, or WMS systems)
- Strong knowledge of shipping regulations and documentation requirements
- Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills with carriers
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Associate's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field preferred
- Experience with international shipping documentation and customs procedures
