Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international shipments across multiple carriers and modes (air, ground, rail)
- Manage documentation compliance (BOLs, customs forms, hazardous materials manifests)
- Optimize routing and carrier selection to minimize costs and transit times
- Track shipments in real-time using TMS systems and provide proactive client updates
- Resolve transportation discrepancies and implement process improvements
- Collaborate with warehouse teams for accurate inventory and order fulfillment
- Conduct monthly shipping performance analysis and reporting
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in freight coordination or logistics operations
- Proficiency in TMS software (e.g., Oracle, Blue Yonder) and MS Office Suite
- Certification in logistics/supply chain management (CSCP, CLTD) preferred
- Strong knowledge of INCOTERMS and international shipping regulations
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to negotiate with carriers and manage vendor relationships
- Experience optimizing LTL/FTL shipments and reducing freight costs
