Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international shipments across multiple carriers and modes (air, ocean, ground)
- Manage documentation (BOLs, customs forms, commercial invoices) with 100% accuracy
- Track shipments in real-time using TMS platforms and provide proactive client updates
- Resolve shipping disruptions and negotiate carrier rates for cost efficiency
- Collaborate with warehouse, sales, and customs teams for seamless operations
- Analyze shipping data to identify optimization opportunities
- Ensure compliance with DOT, IATA, and international trade regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years' experience in shipping/logistics coordination
- Proficiency with TMS software (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan Active) and Microsoft Excel
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, customs procedures, and hazardous materials handling
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks in high-pressure environments
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CSCP, CLTD) preferred
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
