Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes including documentation, customs clearance, and carrier selection
- Monitor shipment tracking and proactively resolve transit delays or issues
- Optimize freight routes and negotiate contracts with transportation providers
- Maintain accurate inventory records and shipping databases
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align shipping schedules with production timelines
- Ensure compliance with DOT, IATA, and international shipping regulations
- Generate shipping reports and analyze performance metrics for continuous improvement
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in shipping coordination or logistics management
- Proficiency in WMS/TMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Certification in logistics/supply chain management (CLTD, CSCP, or CPIM) preferred
- Strong knowledge of domestic and international shipping regulations
- Exceptional problem-solving and multitasking abilities
- Advanced Excel skills with data visualization capabilities
- Excellent verbal/written communication and negotiation skills
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field
