Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments across air, ocean, and ground freight
- Manage documentation (BOLs, customs forms, commercial invoices) for compliance
- Track shipments in real-time using TMS software and provide client updates
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and optimize routes for cost/time efficiency
- Liaise with carriers, warehouses, and customs brokers to ensure timely delivery
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate warehouse receiving/shipping schedules
- Prepare shipping cost estimates and manage freight budgets
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in shipping/logistics coordination
- Proficiency with TMS platforms (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and Microsoft Office
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, customs regulations, and hazardous materials
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure environments
- Associate degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred
- Forklift certification a plus
