Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes across multiple carriers and transportation modes
- Manage documentation including bills of lading, customs forms, and compliance paperwork
- Optimize shipping routes and schedules to reduce transit times and costs
- Track shipments in real-time and proactively address delivery exceptions
- Liaise with customs brokers, warehouses, and clients for smooth clearance
- Analyze shipping data to identify efficiency improvements
- Maintain accurate inventory and shipment records in logistics software
Qualifications
- 3+ years' experience in shipping coordination or logistics operations
- Proficiency with logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or TMS systems)
- Strong knowledge of domestic/international shipping regulations
- Exceptional problem-solving and multi-tasking abilities
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder coordination
- Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
- Forklift certification or warehouse experience preferred
- High school diploma; degree in logistics or supply chain management a plus
