Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes including booking, documentation, and tracking
- Liaise with carriers, customs brokers, and internal stakeholders to resolve shipment issues
- Maintain accurate inventory records and shipping documentation
- Optimize routing and carrier selection to minimize costs and delivery times
- Ensure compliance with DOT, IATA, and international shipping regulations
- Manage customs clearance processes for international shipments
- Generate shipping reports and performance metrics
- Collaborate with warehouse and sales teams to fulfill customer orders efficiently
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in logistics or shipping coordination
- Proficiency with TMS/WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms and international shipping regulations
- Excellent problem-solving and multitasking abilities
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
