Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international shipments via air, sea, and ground transport
- Manage inventory tracking and warehouse documentation systems
- Liaise with carriers, customs brokers, and internal teams for timely deliveries
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and implement process improvements
- Generate shipping manifests, bills of lading, and customs paperwork
- Monitor carrier performance metrics and negotiate rates
- Maintain compliance with DOT, IATA, and international trade regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years in shipping coordination or logistics operations
- Expertise in ERP/WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms and export compliance requirements
- Proven problem-solving skills with shipment exceptions
- Advanced Excel proficiency and data analysis capabilities
- OSHA Hazmat certification or willingness to obtain
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
