Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes, including order fulfillment, carrier selection, and documentation
- Track shipments in real-time using logistics software and provide proactive updates to stakeholders
- Negotiate rates and contracts with freight carriers to optimize costs
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to prioritize outbound shipments
- Maintain accurate shipping records and generate performance reports
- Implement process improvements to enhance shipping efficiency
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of shipping coordination or logistics experience
- Proficiency in TMS/WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong knowledge of shipping regulations (DOT, IATA, FMC)
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
