Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily shipping activities including order processing, carrier selection, and documentation preparation
- Monitor inventory levels and trigger replenishment requests to prevent stockouts
- Track shipments in real-time using TMS software and provide proactive updates to stakeholders
- Resolve logistics discrepancies and implement corrective actions for delayed/lost shipments
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure timely loading and accurate labeling
- Maintain compliance with international shipping regulations (DOT, IATA, customs)
- Generate weekly performance reports and identify cost-saving opportunities
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain coordination
- Proficiency with TMS/WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan preferred)
- Strong knowledge of LTL/FTL shipping processes and carrier negotiations
- Certification in logistics (CSCP, CLTD, or CSCP) highly desirable
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Valid California driver's license and clean driving record
- Fluency in English; bilingual Spanish a significant advantage
