Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily shipping/receiving activities and prioritize freight schedules
- Manage inventory control systems and maintain accurate stock records
- Process documentation (BOLs, invoices, customs forms) for domestic/international shipments
- Optimize routing and negotiate rates with carrier partners
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and track delivery exceptions
- Collaborate with warehouse and sales teams on order fulfillment
- Implement cost-saving measures in shipping processes
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in logistics or 3+ years shipping coordination experience
- Proficiency in WMS and TMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
- Familiarity with Incoterms and international shipping regulations
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision making
- Excellent communication and vendor relationship management abilities
- OSHA certification and hazardous materials handling knowledge preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours during peak shipping seasons
