Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international shipments using ERP systems and carrier portals
- Optimize freight routes and negotiate competitive rates with carriers
- Manage documentation (BOLs, customs forms, certificates of origin)
- Track shipments in real-time and resolve transit delays proactively
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure timely loading/unloading
- Analyze shipping data to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Maintain compliance with DOT and international trade regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in shipping/logistics coordination
- Proficiency in TMS software (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan Active)
- Familiarity with Incoterms 2020 and customs procedures
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent verbal/written communication abilities
- Problem-solving mindset for resolving shipment exceptions
- High school diploma; Supply Chain certification preferred
