Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international shipments across multiple carriers and modes (air, sea, ground)
- Manage documentation including bills of lading, customs forms, and compliance paperwork
- Track shipments in real-time using TMS systems and provide proactive status updates
- Resolve transit disruptions and negotiate carrier service issues
- Collaborate with warehouse teams for inventory allocation and dock scheduling
- Analyze shipping data to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Ensure compliance with DOT, IATA, and international trade regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in shipping coordination or logistics operations
- Proficiency in TMS platforms (e.g., Descartes, MercuryGate) and Microsoft Office
- Certification in logistics/supply chain management preferred
- Strong understanding of Incoterms and customs brokerage processes
- Exceptional problem-solving and negotiation abilities
- Ability to work under pressure with competing priorities
- High attention to detail with documentation accuracy
