Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes across multiple carriers and transportation modes
- Manage inventory control systems and optimize warehouse space utilization
- Resolve freight discrepancies and mitigate shipping delays through proactive communication
- Generate shipping documentation (BOLs, invoices, customs forms) with 100% accuracy
- Collaborate with sales and production teams to meet urgent delivery deadlines
- Implement cost-saving measures through carrier negotiations and route optimization
- Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and international shipping protocols
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse coordination
- Proficiency in WMS/TMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong analytical skills for freight cost analysis and performance metrics
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities in high-pressure environments
- OSHA/Forklift certification preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends during peak seasons
