Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments across multiple carriers and freight forwarders
- Manage customs documentation, compliance, and regulatory filings for cross-border shipments
- Optimize shipping routes and schedules to minimize costs and transit times
- Track and monitor shipments in real-time, providing proactive updates to stakeholders
- Resolve shipping discrepancies, delays, and customs clearance issues
- Collaborate with warehouse, sales, and procurement teams to align shipping strategies
- Maintain accurate shipping records and generate performance reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in shipping coordination or logistics operations
- Proficiency with TMS/WMS software (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of INCOTERMS, customs regulations, and export compliance
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with competing priorities
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Experience managing hazardous materials or temperature-sensitive shipments preferred
