Responsibilities
- Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments across multiple carriers (LTL, FTL, air freight)
- Manage documentation (BOLs, invoices, customs forms) with 99.9% accuracy
- Optimize freight routes and negotiate carrier rates for cost efficiency
- Track shipments in real-time using TMS platforms (e.g., Oracle Transportation)
- Resolve shipment discrepancies and communicate proactively with stakeholders
- Collaborate with warehouse team on inventory allocation and dock scheduling
- Generate performance reports and KPI dashboards for continuous improvement
Qualifications
- 3+ years of logistics/shipping coordination experience
- Proficiency in TMS software (SAP, Descartes, or similar)
- OSHA Hazmat certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret shipping data
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Ability to manage competing priorities in fast-paced environment
- Associate degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
- Forklift certification (Class I-IV) preferred
