Responsibilities
- Coordinate and track inbound and outbound shipments to ensure accurate and timely delivery.
- Communicate effectively with carriers, customers, and internal teams regarding shipment status and delays.
- Prepare and process shipping documentation, including bills of lading and invoices, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Manage inventory levels by conducting regular cycle counts and reconciling shipping data.
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and troubleshoot logistical issues to minimize downtime.
- Maintain a clean and organized shipping/receiving area, adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Shipping Coordinator, Logistics Associate, or similar role (1+ years preferred).
- Proficiency in using logistics software (e.g., Oracle, NetSuite) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of shipping regulations, hazardous material handling, and freight forwarding processes.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Supply Chain or related field is a plus.
