Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international shipments across air, ocean, and ground carriers
- Manage documentation (BOLs, customs forms, commercial invoices) for compliance
- Track shipments in real-time and resolve transit delays proactively
- Optimize freight routes and negotiate carrier contracts for cost efficiency
- Liaise with customs brokers and regulatory bodies for clearance
- Maintain inventory accuracy and warehouse coordination
- Generate shipping reports and KPI dashboards for leadership
Qualifications
- 3+ years in logistics/shipping coordination with multi-modal experience
- Proficiency in TMS/WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan Active)
- Certified Customs Broker or CSCP credential preferred
- Expert knowledge of Incoterms, HTS codes, and export regulations
- Exceptional problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Advanced Excel/Power BI for data analysis
- Ability to work flexible hours during peak shipping seasons
